Research Day

Sunday 18 May 2025 at the Family Research Centre in Panmure.

The presentation will be on DNA and what it means for M?ori and Polynesian peoples with  Alan Cobcroft.

Timings will be 1pm to 4pm with the doors open at midday so we can some time over lunch to talk with our members.

Alanis an NZSG member, also a member of the Genealogical Computing Group and a bit of a DNA whizz.

Just a reminder that the M?ori Interest Group are holding a Research day this coming Sunday 8th September 2024. This is to encourage all those who came to see us at the Auckland Family History Expo last month to come along and let us help you with your research. Bring your problems or brick walls and see if we can help you knock them down.

Where:  NZSG Family Research Centre, 159 Queens Road, Panmure, Auckland

Time:    Doors open at midday – Research will run from 1pm to 4pm.

Cost:     FREE – this event is sponsored by our group.

Bring your lunch, your research notes and an enquiring mind – all welcome
